Today, mankind immensely benefits from the impact that Modern Medicine has made in the understanding, diagnosis and treatment of diseases.

Through continuing medical research we wanted to find answers to lots of fundamental questions pertaining to etiology, pathogenesis, therapeutics, prognosis and susceptibility to various medical conditions. We still do not have this knowledge for various medical conditions. While we continue to find answers to these questions with our modern research capabilities, we still need to explore what the earlier system of medicine has to offer.

Ayurveda and Siddha systems of medicine are among the earliest systems of medicine. The principles of Ayurveda and Siddha systems of medicine are systematically well documented. This system of medicine originated more than 5000 years ago and is time tested. The common trend of most of the researchers is to shun at the outset or look down at the value of these traditional methods of healing. This despite the fact that most of the modern day researchers do not have any in-depth knowledge or understanding about the Principles of Ayurveda and Siddha Systems of Medicine.

It is fundamental for any scholarly scientific research that the hypothesis are approached with an open mind and unbiased view. If the scientific research validates the specific principles and hypothesis of Ayurveda & Siddha Medicine, it has to be accepted; on the other hand, if the scientific research invalidates the specific principles and the hypothesis, it has to be rejected. Such an approach gives us an opportunity to study the unexplored treasures of ancient system of medicine in a systematic scientific fashion.

Our intent is to develop a comprehensive medical system integrating the principles of Modern Medicine with Ayurveda & Siddha Medicine to have significant understanding pertaining to etiology, pathogenesis, therapeutics, prognosis and susceptibility to various medical conditions.

In today's modern world, it is imperative to scientifically validate the time-tested principles of Ayurveda and Siddha systems of medicine. This venture is based on the meaningful working together of experts from Modern Medicine, Ayurveda, Siddha medicine and Chrono Astro medicine to create a meaningful outcome and benefit the mankind with the research findings.
